New features
Plugin tabs in builders
Builders can now show addon tabs directly in their interface, starting with Knowledge Set Builder. Addon functionality is available in the tool you are already working in, rather than in a separate view.
Changed behavior
The following change affects an existing workflow. Review it before upgrading.
Printing removed from Application Builder
The print action in the top right of Application Builder has been removed. The function did not produce reliable output and has been withdrawn rather than left in place.
Before this release: a print button that produced unusable output.
After this release: no print button — use your platform's own print or export path instead.
Security improvements
This release includes a fix to authorization handling in the desktop client. Upgrading is recommended for all installations. Details are available in the security advisory on the inorigo® documentation portal.
Bug fixes
-
Inherited Attribute Presentations Now Resolve Consistently
Presentations on inherited attributes could resolve incorrectly once an instance was touched, including when it was only referenced as an attribute value rather than edited. Because the change surfaced only on interaction, affected instances were hard to identify. Now inheritance resolves consistently, and no model changes are needed to pick up the correction.
-
Saving on PostgreSQL No Longer Fails on Larger Pastes
Saving certain records on a PostgreSQL instance could fail, particularly when pasting larger datasets into Data Grid for Core. Now these records save as expected. Note: organizations that adopted PostgreSQL with 22.6.0 should upgrade.
-
Constraints Are Enforced on Definitions Without Instances
A constraint on a definition was not applied the first time duplicate content was saved, so a save that should have been rejected succeeded. Now the constraint is enforced on every save.
-
Attribute Fields Lock After Setting an Automation
Setting a fixed value or a continuous concatenation expression for an attribute in Model Builder left the field editable instead of locking and greying it out.Now the field locks as soon as the automation is set, matching the behaviour it describes.
-
Disabled and Abstract Attributes Appear in Model Builder Search
Searching a superclass with the options to show disabled and abstract attributes enabled did not return them in the search panel. Now they appear in the results.
-
Matrix Structure Survives Adding a Panel
Adding a new panel to an application could drop the reference and structure of an existing matrix, in some cases requiring the matrix to be rebuilt from scratch. Now the matrix keeps its reference and structure when a panel is added.
-
Matrix Column Sorting Corrected
Sorting a column by its header returned values in the wrong order. Now columns sort as expected.
-
Functions and Variables Available After Toggling Show Presentations
In Knowledge Set Builder, selecting Show Presentations while editing a calculated column stopped the right-click menu from opening Functions and Variables, and the dialog had to be closed and reopened to recover. Now the menu remains available whether or not Show Presentations is selected.
-
Legacy Model Builder Refreshes After Association Changes
Creating or deleting an association did not update the list until the cache was cleared manually. Now the list refreshes on change.
-
Uploaded Icons Save Correctly
Uploading an icon that was not already in the dropdown showed a placeholder in the header, and saving failed with a constraint error. Now the uploaded icon is shown and saves as expected.
-
Original Icons Can Be Restored
Clearing a custom icon in the entity form restored the original in the view but failed on save, including when the icon was updated through the API.Now restoring the original icon saves correctly.
-
Correct Tooltips on Icon Buttons
Both icon buttons showed the tooltip "Inherited icon".Now they read "Upload" and "Download".
