22.5.5
Simplified GET methods for Knowledge Set execution
Component: REST API - Knowledge Sets
What is new: Three simplified GET methods have been added for Knowledge Set operations:
- Execute a Knowledge Set
- Execute Knowledge Set objects
- Count
These methods offer a lighter alternative to the existing POST-based endpoints, suitable for straightforward queries that do not require body parameters.
Limitations: These GET methods do not support Knowledge Sets that require input parameters, or custom sorting defined through the request body. For those use cases, the existing POST-based endpoints should be used.
Action required: None. Existing integrations are unaffected. Teams may adopt the new GET methods where applicable.
Bug fixes
Applications – tabs disappearing when a filter box is set to Compact
Component: Applications - Filter Boxes / Layout
What was happening: When a filter box within an application was configured with the Compact setting enabled, all application tabs became invisible when the application was opened in the browser. This affected any application containing both tabs and one or more filter boxes with the Compact option active.
What has been resolved: Application tabs now display correctly regardless of the Compact setting applied to any filter box.
Action required: None. Existing applications will render correctly after upgrading to 22.5.5.
Rights Manager – Read-Only group members unable to perform permitted actions via rule configurations
Component: Rights Manager - Groups / Rule Configurations
What was happening: Users assigned to a Read-Only group were unable to execute update operations even when an explicit Allow rule for that action had been configured within a rule configuration. Read-Only group membership incorrectly overrode the rule configuration-level permission, preventing users from carrying out actions they were intended to be authorized for.
What has been resolved: Rule configuration Allow rules now take correct precedence as intended. Users in a Read-Only group will be able to perform update operations where an explicit Allow rule has been defined in accordance with the configured access policy.
Action required: None. Permission evaluation is corrected automatically upon upgrading. Administrators are encouraged to review any workarounds that may have been put in place for affected users and remove them where appropriate.
