Rights Manager
Released

24.1.2

New features

Clone rules

You can now clone an existing rule in the Rights Manager. When you need a rule that is similar to one you already have, start from a copy instead of building it from scratch.

Improvements

Rename user accounts

User accounts can now be renamed in the Rights Manager. Previously, the only way to change the name was to delete the account and create a new one.

Faster loading in editors and scenarios

Entity icons now load more efficiently, which shortens loading times in the Rules editor, the Entity Groups editor, the User Groups editor, and the Scenarios tab.

Scenario results clear when the selection changes

When you change the selection in the Scenarios tab, the previous result is now cleared. This prevents an earlier result from being read as the result for the new selection. Click Run Scenario to see the updated result.

System Administrators in scenarios

System Administrators always have full access to everything in inorigo®, and rules cannot restrict them. Scenarios now reflect this for System Administrator users.

Changed behavior

The following changes affect existing configuration or workflows. Review each item before upgrading.

Object Groups are now called Entity Groups

To match the terminology used across the inorigo® documentation, Object Groups are now called Entity Groups, and Objects are now called Entities. The change applies to both the Rights Manager and the Access Manager.

Bug fixes

  • User filter in the Scenarios tab works
Filtering the user list in the Scenarios tab returned no results.

Now, the filter narrows the list as expected.

  • Administrator icons in the Access Manager display at the correct size
The user icon shown for administrators in the Access Manager was displayed far too large.

Now, the icon is shown at its normal size.
